- Mr. Daniel Martin
Mr. Martin began his VetSuccess journey in 2008. Due to his desire to work in an outdoor setting, Mr. Martin worked jointly with his VetSuccess Counselor by entering into a year long Non-Paid Work Experience (NPWE) program within a Federal agency in his local area available to him via the VetSuccess program. Mr. Martin excelled working in this outdoor environment, which allowed him to utilize his past Civil Affairs trainin, as well as many of the skills he obtained in real life Army survival skills training. - Ms. Colleen Miller-Tuckett
Ms. Miller-Tuckett, an Air Force Veteran, utilized the VetSuccess program to acquire a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Maine and securing employment in the VA as a Mental Health Intensive Case Manager in the Bangor, Maine VA Healthcare System. - Mr. Raymond Greenfield
After being medically retired from the National Guard in 2007, Mr. Greenfield's career direction was at a crossroads. Mr. Greenfield's consternation about his future quickly turned into boundless optimism thanks to his involvement in the VetSuccess program. Thanks to VetSuccess and his own hard work, Mr. Greenfield acquired his career amitions working for a local small business in his Oklahoma community, OK Steel Building Systems, as a Project Manager. Working jointly with his VetSuccess Counselor, Mr. Greenfield was able to overcome his lack of experience in Project Management due to his involvement in a VetSuccess On-the-Job Training program (OJT). OK Steel Building Systems use of this VetSuccess OJT program allowed them to provide Mr. Greenfield a chance to prove his worth for potential full-time employment within their company, while saving them significant money towards their bottom line.
